Discover the pair↓Embroidery & design+
This pair combines Su embroidery in silvery blue and slate tones with green leaves on pale woven cloth. The two panels frame different, echoing sections of the floral motif, with an engraved Miao silver reverse. The frame, sides and reverse are made of Miao silver.
Care+
Keep the embroidered surface dry. Avoid direct contact with perfume and cosmetics, and store separately to protect the threads. Gently wipe the Miao silver with a soft, dry cloth.
MIST BLOOM
Blue softens into light.
A flower rests in mist.
Mist Bloom takes its name from the soft blue-grey shades of the flower. Within the narrow frame, overlapping petals hold the quiet impression of a bloom seen through morning mist.
The petals and leaves turn differently across the pair. Their cropped arrangements echo one another without being identical.
THE ART OF SU EMBROIDERY
Petal by petal,
colour gathers.
Part of Verse, Olsevi’s embroidery collection, this pair features Su embroidery.
Light and dark blue-grey stitches follow the curve of each petal. Green leaves and a brown stem meet a small area of exposed ivory cloth beneath the flower.
A quiet bloom, close at hand.
MIAO SILVER & EMBROIDERY
A soft centre.
A defined edge.
The narrow Miao silver frame follows the length of the embroidery. A small scroll detail crowns the form; an engraved teardrop completes it below. The frame, sides and reverse are made of Miao silver.
The front reveals colour and thread. The reverse offers a quieter, engraved surface.
ON THE BODY
A line of colour.
A quiet movement.
The elongated form brings cool blue-grey beside the face. The engraved teardrop moves gently below the embroidered panel.
Mineral teal draws out the deeper blue tones; ivory linen echoes the pale woven ground. The same pair accompanies both.

Rooted in Chinese aesthetics, our perspective begins with the relationship between what is held and what is revealed. Space, contrast and the choice of a fragment give that idea a tangible form.
