Embroidery & design+

This pair features Sanlan embroidery, with blue stitches arranged differently across the two circular panels. A Greek-key rim meets a raised scroll-patterned Miao silver reverse. The frame, sides and reverse are made of Miao silver.

Care+

Keep the embroidered surface dry. Avoid direct contact with perfume and cosmetics, and store separately to protect the threads. Gently wipe the Miao silver with a soft, dry cloth.

AZURE TIDE

Blue meets blue.
A tide passes softly.

Azure Tide takes its name from the flowing impression of light and dark blue thread. Diagonal stitches within the round frame recall a moment of overlapping tides.

The blue arrangements differ across the pair, each with a warm glimpse of coral-red cloth at the top.

THE ART OF SANLAN EMBROIDERY

Shade by shade,
blue begins to flow.

Part of Verse, Olsevi’s embroidery collection, this pair features Sanlan embroidery.

Pale blue, grey-blue and deep blue threads overlap. Their changing directions catch the light, with coral-red cloth visible above.

A small passage of blue, close at hand.

MIAO SILVER & EMBROIDERY

A soft centre.
A defined edge.

A continuous Greek-key pattern encircles the Miao silver frame. A small ring joins it to the fishhook; raised scrolling relief gives the rounded reverse depth and shadow. The frame, sides and reverse are made of Miao silver.

Soft embroidered colour on the front meets scrolling Miao silver relief on the reverse.

With mineral teal
With ivory linen

ON THE BODY

A line of colour.
A quiet movement.

The circular embroidered panels bring blue beside the face and move gently from their hooks.

Mineral teal echoes the deeper threads; ivory linen highlights the contrast of blue and coral red. The same pair accompanies both.

THE HOUSE OF OLSEVI

Written in thread.
Held in a frame.

Rooted in Chinese aesthetics, our perspective begins with the relationship between what is held and what is revealed. Space, contrast and the choice of a fragment give that idea a tangible form.
